NAVIGATING A LISTED PROPERTY
This renovation in the beautiful seaside town of Wells-Next-The-Sea had the added challenge of listed areas within the property. Navigating possibilities within these confines and managing the permissions process added an extra layer to the design, development and management. Creating a transformation from period living to a modern family holiday home whilst remaining sympathetic to its period features made this a special project. The owners love and colour and pattern allowed the rooms to burst into life! The challenge of smaller rooms, such as the Galley Kitchen required work to achieve a design that offered full functionality and luxuries with the minimum of compromise. Even the papering of the walls required extra skill! There is a modern playfulness to the home whilst keeping the sense of history in its walls.
